About Me
"I AM SURVIVOR."
I, Olivia was mentally and physically abused as a child, teenager and as well as an adult. I was told not to speak or tell anyone, and if I did they wouldn’t believe me. I carried the hurt and pain all bottled up inside, without anyone on my side that I could trust or confide in that would believe my horror. I started a family of my own and I always told myself that I refused to allow my children to go through what I went through. Fast forwarding, I decided to relocate my children and I to begin a fresh start on a new life, I spoke out and broke the silence as well as the generational curse. As the days, month, and years went by and my new start of life began to crumble again as if it never ended.

The only scenario that changed was the abuse being delivered to me from a different source. And once again I took my car and my children and we drove as far as we could. Being a single parent without anywhere to go, along with my four children living out of my car, I called shelters after shelters and all were filled. I cried out to the ones I thought were my friends, during that time. They gave me a place to stay, just to find out that it was a place not to call home. Not long after that, two days later my children were no longer welcome to stay. So that meant I couldn’t stay if my children couldn’t stay. So the authorities had us removed. I cried and I cried, I prayed and I prayed. I returned back home where I was able to place a restraining order on the individual that was mentally abusing me. So now my children and I are back in a house that we could call home. I promised the lord if he got me out of this situation that I would reach out to the womens and children so that they would not have to go through what I went through as a child to an adult.
